CH MANAGER - RICHARD GREEN

Richard has been involved in golf club's for all of his working life.He started as Assistant Professional at Royal Dornoch in the early 80's. After 7 years as Assistant he changed his vocation and turned to the Club Stewarding side of things. Richard was Head Steward at Golspie GC before moving to Invergordon Royal British Legion. He was then re-employed back at Royal Dornoch GC as Clubhouse Manager for 5 years before moving closer to home taking over as Clubhouse Manager and General Manager to Alness GC.
Richard joined Tain Golf Club in August 2015 as our Clubhouse Manager. In 2019 Richard was asked to take on some extra duties working along side Dorothy in the office.

Stuart our PGA Golf Professional has been with us since 2007. With over 21 years experience as a PRO he is well equipped to deal with your every need when arriving at Tain G C. A well stocked shop with quality brands or phone ahead for an expert lesson. Make sure you check in with Stuart at the Pro Shop before you play.

SENIOR GREENKEEPER - ROSS MACRAE

I am originally from Golspie. I started my Greenkeeping career as a Apprentice Greenkeeper at Nairn Golf Club.

I moved down to Aberdeenshire in 1999 to further my career and moved up the ladder most notably at Newmachar Golf Club as Deputy Head Greenkeeper. I have been Head Greenkeeper at Huntly Golf Club and most recently Turriff Golf Club for almost 8 years. I left Turriff to become 1st Assistant Greenkeeper at Trump International until my new role as Senior Greenkeeper at Tain Golf Club.
